Raymond James financial advisors Sheryl Stephens and Margaret Starner were recently named among Barron’s “Top 100 Women Financial Advisors.”

This list of distinguished advisors was compiled by the Winner’s Circle organization, which is run by R.J. Shook and is a subsidiary of Barron’s. The organization weighs factors such as client retention and regulatory records as well as total assets under management. It also has worked with Research magazine for September “Top Advisor Teams” issues and past “Winner’s Circle State by State” magazine supplements.

“We at Raymond James are very proud to be associated with advisors of their standing,” says Chet Helck, COO of Raymond James Financial Inc. and head of the firm’s private client group. “They define what it means to be the best in the industry and perennially appear on these lists of the nation’s top advisors.”

Starner, founder of the Starner Group of Raymond James & Associates, Inc., member New York Stock Exchange/SIPC, in Coral Gables, Fla., offers her clients comprehensive investment and retirement planning. Research magazine inducted her into its “Advisors Hall of Fame” in 2008.
